Judging Process and Tips

The Radio Advertising Awards Judges are drawn from the Radio, Advertising and Marketing Industries. The judges are required to judge each entry in its entitity
Judgement will be based solely on the entry submitted, in an independent and objective manner and NOT on activity throughout 2009
The judges will be looking at the following criteria when listening to entries
· Production - is the use of music and sound effects well handled?
· Quality and suitability of the voiceover - are they well cast? Is there a natural fit?
· Audio quality
· Concept originality
· Copywriting script
· Relevance to the brand.
· Concept; is the idea good? Does it clearly communicate the benefits of the product or service? Is it original? Is it inventive? Does it stand out?
· Script; is it succinct? Is it polished? Would you like to hear it again?
· Does the entry, in your opinion, do the job that it set out to?

REMEMBER When it comes to entries with multiple pieces of copy, a long entry doesn't necessarily mean a better entry. Include only the material which demonstrates your strengths.
